Sumatran tiger tounge

Sometimes it can be tough being a big cat. This Sumatran tiger at the National Zoo Great Cat Exhibit in Washington, DC seems to have something to say. This tiger is distinguished by heavy black stripes on its orange coat. It is estimated that there are less than 400 Sumatran tigers on the island of Sumatra, making them a critically endangered species.
